Discover the beauty of Granite Bay and Folsom Lake from horseback. Our well-trained, gentle horses will take great care of you every step of the way. We’ll match you with the perfect horse for your riding level and provide a quick tutorial before we hit the trail.
Whether you’re looking to escape the city, reconnect with nature, or try something new, this is the ride for you!
2-hour guided trail rides — by reservation only

Mon–Thurs: 9:00am
Fri–Sun: 9:00am and 12:00pm
(Call for additional time options—limited availability.)
Minimum age: 10 years old
Children 8–9 may ride if they’ve had 5 or more riding lessons
Riders must be able-bodied*
Weight limits (for the horses’ wellbeing):
Under 200 lbs if shorter than 5'8"
Under 250 lbs if 5'8" or taller
If a rider appears close to the limit, we may weigh them before mounting.
Long pants
Closed-toe shoes (sneakers or boots; no Toms)
Sunscreen, a hat, or sunglasses recommended
We have a strict 48-hour cancellation policy
Late cancellations: $70 per rider
No-shows or same-day cancellations: full ride cost
Please arrive 15 minutes early to park and check in.
Late arrivals may be considered no-shows, as rides must leave on time.
1 rider — $95
2 riders — $180
3 riders — $270
4 riders — $360

Q: Can my child ride with me on the same horse? Can two people share a horse?
A: For safety and the horse’s wellbeing, we allow one rider per horse only.
Q: Will we get to run with the horses?
A: Depending on the group’s experience level, your guide may include some light trotting.
Q: Do we have to wear helmets?
A: Riders under 18 must wear helmets. Helmets are optional for adults and are provided.
*Riders must be able to use both stirrups and reins, and must be able to see, hear, and communicate effectively with the guide.
